My little guy is now 6 months but I swear I have been dealing with teething symptoms since he was 3 months old. His pediatrician would just say that she didn’t see anything therefore probably not teething. I beg to differ.
He has been cranky, chewing on everything, lots of saliva, drooling, tugging on his ears, and crying when I place him down flat. This has been happening on and off for 3 months and now I can finally say I was right! I can see and feel his first tooth coming in! I’m so excited and horrified at the same time. It’s such a big step, my little guy is growing so quickly. Also, I am currently still breastfeeding and the thought of him having teeth is horrifying to me. I am petrified of the possibility of him biting me. It was bad enough when he would bite me before, but now with a tooth coming in, The Fear Is Real!
Luckily the teething rings have been helpful and so have some of his pacifiers. It has really helped to place them in the refrigerator for an hour or so. It doesn’t get too cold and really seems to help. I have been avoiding any type of topical gel because I just don’t trust them. It’s been a hard few months but I’m just hoping that it gets better as time goes on and the next teeth begin erupting. For now I will just relish in the fact that my instincts were right and my baby boy has been teething.

I really started laughing at one point. But, it’s all good.
Lol I’m glad. I definitely try to laugh at some of the situations. Xo
I’m glad I came across this post. Emailed it to myself to learn afterwards from my desktop. Will try to connect with you on Facebook then too.
Glad I could help 🙂
