Giwox Red Diaper Bag/Backpack

Good morning everyone!! Hope you all had a great weekend. I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunny day at the park with my little one. Is it just me or is time just flying by? I can’t believe how fast time is going. My little guy is going to be 15 months tomorrow. (ahh!) But I digress lol.

IMG_1408 (1)I was lucky enough to be able to try out the Giwox Diaper Bag/Backpack. I have been wanting a backpack of some sort to carry all of my little guy’s stuff for some time now. I had a diaper bag already but as beautiful as it is, it is heavy on its own and is really heavy and bulky once I pack it with every possible thing my little guy could ever need (I know it’s unnecessary but it makes me feel more in control of possible meltdowns lol). I figured a backpack would be more comfortable and easier to carry for longer periods of time without causing shoulder and neck pain. I WAS SO RIGHT!

I am super happy to have the Giwox Red Diaper Bag/Backpack. I have had it for a week now and I have used it consistently since I received it. It fits everything that I had in my other diaper bag. I feel like it is more organized in this bag and easier to access than before. And for the best part, it can be carried as a regular bag, a shoulder bag, AND a backpack. I have been using it as a backpack the entire time. It feels much lighter this way and I am left with no pain by the end of the day. The bag is also really cute and made of an easy to wipe clean material.

Th Giwox Diaper Bag/Backpack comes in 3 colors (white, red, and navy) with polka dot patterns. It took me forever to choose which color I wanted because I kept going back and forth between them. I believe they vary slightly in dimensions so that is something to consider (or at least what I used as a tie breaker lol). The bag has 14 pockets which makes organization easy. It has an insulated pocket for baby food on the side and a baby wipe pocket on the opposite side. It comes with buckles, a changing mat, and a storage pouch.

My favorite things about this bag are that it can be carried as a backpack and the baby wipes pocket as well as other pockets making it easier for storing things neatly.

What I would change about this bag would be to have a slightly bigger insulated pouch on the side so that sippy cups and different sized baby foods could fit easily. ( I was only able to fit pouch foods in there and some spoons.) Also I would have the storage pouch have a zipper tab like the Giwox Diaper Bag because it is sturdier. (I was trying to cram a lot of stuff in the storage bag because I wanted my stuff separate and easy to access and while closing it or attempting to, the end of the zipper tab broke off. :( I know that it broke because of how much I had shoved in there but I wanted to point it out so that if anyone else is like me, you won’t do what I did lol)

Overall this is a really great bag made of durable and easy to clean material, good amount of pockets and space, and easy to take with you anywhere you go. I think it was great that they added the extra touches that make it really unique (insulated pocket, baby wipe pocket, multiple ways to carry it.)

Friday Favorites and (Flops), Skincare

Recently I have received some samples to try out as well as purchased a few items myself. I have been using some of them for a month now and wanted to share my thoughts with you guys.

1. My first and absolute favorite product is the Boscia Tsubaki Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask. I LOVE this SO much. This has done wonders for my face. With a now 1 year old little guy, it is extremely hard for me to consistently do my skincare routine. Because of that, my skin has definitely suffered. I was having dry skin and with that came break outs. The first night I used this, it felt wonderful and the next morning I noticed a huge difference in the softness/texture of my face. My face felt silky, soft, and hydrated. I washed it off in the morning and continued with my day. I have found this and other time saving items to be life savers. It does the work that usually took a moisturizer and serum combined. With this sometimes I can get away with just moisturizing at night (if I can’t do it in the morning). The smell is also amazing. It smells fresh and flowery but is a light scent of rose (not overpowering at all).

2. The second item is Clinique even better Essence Lotion. This I like to use in the morning in conjunction with a moisturizer, when I have time to. It says that it plumps skin to comfort and soften. Renews texture and luminosity. I must say that I really did notice a difference in my skin since using this. It’s almost like a mixture of lotion and serum because it has a waterier consistency that moisturizer/lotion. I think this is a really great product as well.

3. The third item that I received a free sample of to try out is Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. This cream is thick and has a light scent. This cream moisturizes wonderfully now that my skin is dry. I don’t think I’ll like it as much in the summer when my skin is greasy. I have combination skin and I think this might be too heavy for me in the warmer months.

4. The fourth item is Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief gel. This item is also very moisturizing and creamy. It smells great and works wonderfully over the cooler months. I switch to the normal moisturizing gel in their line in the warmer months.

My favorite of all of these would definitely be the Boscia Tsubaki Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask but if just comparing moisturizers I would say my favorite is Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief gel because it is very moisturizing while still being on the light side.

My least favorite item would be the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream but I would in no means consider it a Flop. I don’t have a Flop this week.

What are your Favorite Moisturizers? Skincare Holy Grails? Let me know. XO

Natracure Arthritis Mittens

Hey everyone!,

It’s been such a crazy month! Some of you know that between the constant snow we have been having here and colds being passed around left and right, I have been very busy. I once again would like to thank all of my subscribers for being so understanding and supportive! XO Now down to business.

I received Natracure’s Cold Therapy Socks first and fell in love with them! I’ll link my review of them down below. I was then given the opportunity to try out their Arthritis Mittens because they were kind enough to send me them for free for my honest review.

I will start off by saying that I do not have arthritis so as to whether it alleviates arthritis pain, I cannot say. I can say, however, that they are just as well made and comfortable as their Cold Therapy Socks.

Natracure Arthritis Mittens

Natracure Arthritis Mittens

The Natracure Arthritis Mittens are made of a soft fabric with polymer gel lining covering the inside layer where your hands go. They also have soft beads inside the mittens. The mittens can be used cold or hot which is great. A really neat feature is that the starburst designs on the mittens turn red when the mittens are hot to show you to use them with caution and remain blue when mittens are cool. I think this is really great. They also have a light pleasant scent.

I love that the inner gel lining really helps to moisturize my hands while the bead sections feel really nice. I use the mittens cool to help me relax (in conjunction with the Cold Therapy Socks). I like to use the mittens warm when my hands are feeling cramped, tired, or just cold. I have also lotioned my hands and then put the mittens on to really help the lotion seep in and hydrate my skin. This is just something I decided to do and worked for me.

I really love Natracure’s Arthritis Mittens. I think that their products are really well made, great quality items. I think these are a great addition to a relaxation/spa treatment routine.

I would definitely recommend these to everyone. Check them out on their website Natracure.com

The Arthritis Mittens are currently priced at $24.99

If you have tried any of their products that you would recommend me trying or any of your favorite relaxation items please comment down below. Thanks! XO

What I think of Wonderful Skin Care

Wonderful Skin Care

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season! I have been testing out a few items that I wanted to share with you all. I was lucky enough to be sent these items to try out and as always to give you an honest review.

Wonderful Skin Care is 100% natural skin care items that are never tested on animals.      I was sent a Peppermint Lip Balm; Lavender Moisture Bar; and last but not least Cinnamon Leaf Body Butter.

I have been using these products for several days to make sure I could write an accurate review. I’ve had past experiences where I love/hate something at first and then after a couple of days it completely changes. I’m happy to report that that was not the case here. I loved the Wonderful Skin Care items from the moment I opened and smelled them and still do!

Let’s start with the Wonderful Peppermint Lip Balm. First let me say that I love Peppermint scented or flavored items especially around Christmas time. This lip balm was a great addition to my holiday skin care routine along with the Cinnamon Leaf Body Butter. They just put me in the holiday spirit. The Wonderful Peppermint Lip Balm is obviously peppermint scented and there is a very light peppermint taste to it as well as a light cooling sensation when you apply it. It moisturizes my lips without making them feel greasy. I have been applying this to my lips every morning after washing my face.

Peppermint Lip Balm

Next is the Wonderful Cinnamon Leaf Body Butter. This also put me in the holiday spirit. Cinnamon is one of those scents that I love for fall and winter. The Wonderful Body Butter has a wonderful cinnamon scent and leaves my skin feeling silky and soft without feeling greasy. When I first applied it, I thought it was going to be greasy because it has a little bit of a shine to it but once I rubbed it in, it absorbed into my skin leaving behind hydrated soft skin with a cinnamon scent. I love applying this right after taking a shower or before bed. This is a great product for anyone with dry skin or combination skin. I personally have combination skin and this product works great for my skin.

Body Butter

Lastly is the Wonderful Lavender Moisture Bar. The Lavender scent of the Wonderful Moisture Bar instantly relaxes me. It says to rub between your hands to soften and then to place it back in the jar and rub hands together to spread. This bar is very hydrating and does not leave my skin greasy either. I love using this after a shower on days where I need to unwind and relax. The Lavender scent is very relaxing and calming.

Moisture Bar

I can honestly say that these are really great products that work great on my skin with nothing that I would change about them. I really like the products as well as their packaging. They are affordable and all natural with no preservatives or additives.

Wonderful Skin Care

The Wonderful Peppermint Lip Balm is $3.50; Wonderful Cinnamon Leaf Body Butter $6.50; and Wonderful Lavender Moisture Bar $5.00. These are available in different essential oils and they also have other items on their website.

Check them out at www.wonderfulsc.com

I will be putting up my winter skin care routine on my blog next week and these items are definitely in my routine! I have also been trying out the NatraCure Arthritis Mittens and a review on them will be up soon. XOXO :)

My thoughts on Tooth Fairy Tyke

IMG_9682

I was fortunate enough to receive a Tooth Fairy Tyke for my little guy. I love the idea of the Tooth Fairy Tyke. A Tooth Fairy Tyke is the Tooth Fairy’s helper or messenger if you will. Moms and dads can pick a male or female Tooth Fairy Tyke for their little one and it comes with a Free EBook and you can download a Tooth Fairy Timer App. The idea of the Tooth Fairy Tyke is to be your little one’s comfort and companion during the tooth losing process as well as motivation for your little one to behave and take care of their teeth because the Tooth Fairy Tyke will report back to the Tooth Fairy. I think this a super cute idea.

While my little guy is not in the tooth losing stage yet (9 1/2 months old), he has become attached to his Tooth Fairy Tyke. He seems to find comfort in her although I’m sure she doesn’t exactly appreciate all of the biting he does. I think that she will be helpful, in the future, during the tooth losing process as well as visits to the dentist by making the whole process more fun.

The Tooth Fairy Tyke is a small stuffed doll. It is about 11 inches tall. Not only is the product itself a cute idea but the company is also a great company. The Tooth Fairy Tykes company donates Tooth Fairy Tykes to Children’s Hospitals. I find that so inspirational and kind! More companies should be like this. They also welcome hospitals to reach out to them so that they can donate their Tooth Fairy Tykes to more children. This company is such a great example of making a difference in the world by giving to those who would truly appreciate it and by making someone’s day a little brighter.

Check them out on their website: www.toothfairytykes.com

They have a Free Ebook as well as a Free Tooth Fairy Timer App you can download.

As always all opinions are my own. I will always be honest and upfront with my blog posts and reviews. I would like to thank my subscribers and readers for all of your support.
